Save Me

Desperate attacks from every side
Inner demons whispering in my ear
Through every hellfire
I walk alone.
In the distance
All I can see is this gleaming smile
Something draws me closer and closer
I cannot run from my past,
Thus I run faster towards my future.
Somewhere in the darkness
I know there is a brilliant light
That never goes out.
The same light that calls to me
Calling me forward
Comforting me amongst
All this pain,
Through every trial
And every tear.
Solace through bloodshed
Peace in fire.
One day I will dance in the light
But for now,

Blinding darkness.
